The Lexington Academy seeks to maintain an educational environment in which the entire school community, in partnership with community based organizations and families, works to ensure that all students are provided with the skills to become lifelong learners. Through collaboration and standards-driven instructional curricular, we will engage all students and assist them in achieving high standards that will teach them to become competent, compassionate, committed, conscientious, and competitive contributing citizens of the world.

Principal Antonio Hernandez
It is indeed a pleasure to serve your children at The Lexington Academy. On behalf of my staff and myself I thank you for allowing us to welcome your children into our school community. I assure you we do not take this responsibility lightly. We take each child’s security, safety and success seriously. We will work diligently to serve our students and our community and to give our students the necessary skills to become competent problem solvers and outstanding citizens!
The Lexington Academy staff will work daily to ensure high quality classroom instruction in a warm and nurturing learning environment. It is our goal that all students will leave Lexington Academy able to read, write, and compute at successful levels that will prepare them for college and careers. Our instructional programs provide tailored grade level Common Core Learning Standards aligned math and literacy instruction in the workshop model.
Our classrooms students have the opportunity to go beyond the basics by infusing SmartBoard technology in their learning. We know that children learn best when they are afforded a well rounded education. For this reason, we are proud to provide high quality instruction in the Visual Arts, Music, and Drama at The Lexington Academy.
