We are now using Google Classrooms for remote learning.
We have created user names for our students. Their user name is the first letter of their name, followed by their last name and their birthday mmddyy, for example,
joe kind March 15, 2016 would be
jkind031516@ps72m.org
Please visit https://classroom.google.com or download the google classroom app.
If you are using a tablet or phone the app might automatically sign you in under your current email address if you already use a Gmail account.
If that is the case you are going to look for a circle that has your initials (or profile pic) in it.
On a phone, it will most likely be at the top right, on a tablet it may be on the top left or toward the bottom.
You will tap it and get a menu.
You will select add another account. It will bring you to a sign-in page
You will enter the child's username and hit the next button.
Then enter the password
You will then see 2 icons asking if you are a student or teacher
Choose student
If you are using a computer then you will have to go to https://classroom.google.com
It will bring you to a sign-in page
You will enter the child's username and hit the next button.
Then enter the password
You will then see 2 icons asking if you are a student or teacher
Choose student

You can email me for your child's password or to reset it. Your child should have already been enrolled in the class but if not click on google classrooms. The classrooms are listed on two pages. grades 3K-5 on the elementary page and grades 6-8 on the middle school page. Remember you don't need a laptop, this application works across many electronic devices.
